Kayven whistlers were vicious carnivorous flying creatures, resembling a cross between a monkey and a bat. The magician Xaverri created illusions of them in her act, flying over and swooping down at the audience. Jabba Desilijic Tiure kept some kayven whistlers as pets at his townhouse and palace and took great delight in feeding his enemies to them.
