"Galactic Dance Blast" was a jizz song recorded by Evar Orbus and His Galactic Jizz-Wailers. Following the death of bandleader Evar Orbus, many of the surviving band members formed the Max Rebo Band and continued to perform it.[1]
The song was played Rebo's band at Jabba's palace after Princess Leia Organa (disguised as Boushh) accepted the bounty for Chewbacca. The band later played it as Jabba's sail barge made its way across the Dune Sea traveling to the sarlacc pit prior to the attempted execution of Chewbacca, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.[2][source?]
Behind the scenes
It is notable for never getting an official release due to its master tape being lost after its usage on the documentary From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga. Some unfinished versions of the song can be listened to on YouTube[3]. Because the original music is lost, it is not known if these two snippets are from the same song, or if there are two forms of music with the same title.
