The '''Tagger''', also known as the '''MicroTagger'''<ref name="Open Aarms">''[[Open Aarms]]''</ref> was a small [[Transmitter/Legends|transmitting]] device that looked very similar to a [[Stylus/Legends|stylus]]. It fired a small 5mm [[transponder node dart]] up to four [[Imperial standard meter|meters]] by using compressed air. The dart had a [[Battery/Legends|battery]] life of 40 [[Standard hour/Legends|hours]] and a range of 1.2 [[Kilometer/Legends|kilometers]]. The transmitter in the dart broadcast its location every 5 [[Standard minute/Legends|minutes]] and allowed the tagger to get the dart's range and direction. The signal was extremely hard to detect and trace.
