The '''Skirmish at Shintel''' was a minor engagement between the [[New Republic/Legends|New Republic]] [[CR90 corvette/Legends|CR90 corvette]] ''[[FarStar]]'' and the ''[[Steel Fist]]'', a modified [[YT-1300 light freighter/Legends|YT-1300 light freighter]] operated by the [[Bounty hunter/Legends|bounty hunter]] gang [[Qulok's Fist]]. After being lured to the [[Shintel system]] through false intelligence, the ''FarStar'' was infected with a computer virus that blew out the ship's [[Hyperdrive/Legends|hyperdrive]]. Qulok's Fist, hired by [[Moff/Legends|Moff]] [[Kentor Sarne]], attacked the vessel as it was stranded, making several fast attack runs before withdrawing.
