Ambak proposed that there was a distance from a [[Planet/Legends|planet]] beyond which [[Moon/Legends|moons]] could exist or be created by the accretion of left-over matter. Inside of this distance, moons would not form due to the mother planet's [[Gravity/Legends|gravitational]] pull. The distance was relative to the planet's size and natural gravity. This proposal became known as the [[Ambak limit]].
