Yarrv

Yarrv was a tropical Core World planet of dense jungles, warm oceans and wide, sandy beaches.

History

Yarrv was ruled by an elaborate monarchy of related royal families. The planetary society was separated into twenty individual castes, and the land was ruled by various barons. Each baron had a cross-section of the planet's castes within their realm.

During the Galactic Civil War, a protocol droid belonging to the Alliance to Restore the Republic was lost on Yarrv and suffered damage. It had been programmed by the Alliance with information on Rebel activities in the sector. However, while on Yarrv, it reverted back to its initial function as a butler, and was inserted into the household of Baron Karin of Darpheos. The Alliance was forced to infiltrate the Baron's household and retrieve the droid.
