Y 4 was the designation used by Luke Skywalker while piloting a BTL-S3 Y-wing starfighter attached to the Rebel Ring Base.
History
Pursuing the wayward Millennium Falcon after a near crash landing into the Ring Base, Skywalker used this Y-wing to land on Panna Prime. There, he separated the cockpit from the rest of the fighter, to avoid a dragon-like creature. The ship was ultimately left behind in a ruined state, having been partially devoured by the creature.
