Wyloff
Wyloff was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Wyloff system, a part of the Wyloff sector[2] in the Northern Dependencies portion of the Colonies.[1] The capital city of Wyloff was surrounded by middle class suburbs. Wyloff was also the location of the Wyloff sector Imperial Intelligence ExComm facility.[2]
Wyloff was the homeworld of the Human Ilo Jev, who was born approximately thirty-six years before the Battle of Yavin. Jev grew up in the suburbs of Wyloff's capital, and his father was a prominent local broadcast personality whose career spanned several years. Jev eventually became an Imperial Intelligence External Communications officer with the rank of colonel who was in charge of the Wyloff sector ExComm facility.[2]
Behind the scenes
Wyloff was created by David R. Tulo, Jr. and was introduced in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook published for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Wyloff system, and therefore the celestial body Wyloff, in grid square L-8.[1]
