The WorldArmor 4 Defensive Shield was a common type of planetary shield system used to protect military compounds and fortresses. It required a crew of twenty-five to operate. Six of these generators were employed by Fortress Keremark to deflect orbital bombardments and drew their power from the fortress' main and secondary power generators.[1]
