Wind Raiders/Legends
The Wind Raiders were a tribe of Humans native to Taloraan. While normally peaceful, they became more warlike when Genogri assumed the title of chieftain some time during the Galactic Civil War. Greedy and power-hungry, he transformed the otherwise peaceful people into a fierce warrior people.
The Wind Raiders had domesticated the airborne creatures, known as fleft-waufs, and lived inside another airborne creature called an island-beast.
In 21 BBY, they assisted Jedi Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Obi-Wan Kenobi in defeating Separatist forces above the planet.
Later, they acquired a starship from a Rebel operative, whom they had killed when he tried to contact them, after having established contact with the Denfrandi. They kept the starship inside their island beast, but were not able to operate it. They lost the starship again, when other Rebels stranded on Taloraan, aided by the Denfrandi, acquired it and made it off planet.
