Wadie-platts were a species native to Nim Drovis, a planet located in the Meridian sector of the Outer Rim Territories. They had green eyes, which they blinked; these orbs glowed in the dark. The wadie-platts occupied the swamps and marshes of Nim Drovis.[1] In 13 ABY,[2] when the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 arrived on the planet along with the starship captain Bortrek, their landing pad was surrounded by swamps filled with wadie-platts, gulpers and marsh-gunnies.[1]

Wadie-platts were created by Barbara Hambly for her novel, Planet of Twilight, published in 1997.[1]
