Visual Scanners were scanners used on fighters during the Galactic Civil War. Visual Scanners were a short-range sensors that contained a telescopic lense. The technology provided pilots visual contact with an enemy craft before it could be seen with the naked eye. Visual Scanners were almost impossible to jam, though cloaking devices were useful against them.
