Victorious (capital ship)

Victorious was a capital ship that served as flagship of the Qeimet fleet during the Galactic Civil War.
History
The starfighter forces carried aboard Victorious included a training squadron. In the later stages of their training aboard Victorious, these trainees were deployed as TIE fighter pilots in actual combat conditions. Although normally expected to remain in reserve, they were sometimes pressed into direct combat with Alliance to Restore the Republic starfighters.[1]
During the assault of U'Dray, heavy losses sustained by the Scimitar assault wing forced them to accept replacement pilots from the training squadron of the Victorious. These pilots were to complete their TIE/sa bomber training in live combat, but had not undergone full wing indoctrination. As such, the commander of the Scimitar assault wing, Tomax Bren, issued a datamemo to his squadron commanders reminding them to drill crucial information into the new pilots.[1]
