Veron/Legends
Veron was an agriworld located in the Veron system of the Senex sector, a part of the Senex-Juvex region in the Western Reaches portion of the Mid Rim. The Senex-Juvex Loop hyperlane linked it to the Cyimarra and Presteen systems, while the Veron Route connected it to the New Cylimba system of the D'Aelgoth sector.[1]
Veron was dominated by nobles of the House Araba, which was based on the nearby planet of Cyimarra. The agriworld shared its name with[1] Veron Minor, a planet[2] in the Mektrun sector.[3]
Behind the scenes
Veron was mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square L-17.[1]
A planet named "Veron" was originally introduced in Planets of the Galaxy, Volume One, a 1991 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, which placed it in the Mektrun Cluster.[4] In The Essential Atlas, both a "Veron" system and a "Veron Minor" system were listed,[1] and in the StarWars.com Online Companion to that book, both the Mektrun Cluster and the Veron Minor system were placed in the Mektrun sector, thereby confirming that the original planet Veron had been retroactively renamed Veron Minor.[3]
