Vandron system

The Vandron system lay in the Mid Rim's D'Aelgoth sector. It was run by a Galactic Empire–affiliated government during the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Endor, Riggins Delahrg, the former Imperial governor of the planet Tallaso, became employed at the Imperial Administration building of the Vandron system. Delarhg fled when the Vandronian government collapsed mere months later.

Description

The Vandron system was located in the D'Aelgoth sector,^[1] a part of the Western Reaches portion of^[2] the Mid Rim.^[1]

The Vandron system shared its name with Thull Vandron, a wealthy entrepreneur from the Core Worlds planet of Axum who spearheaded the settlement of the Mid Rim's Senex-Juvex region in around 1000 BBY, as well as House Vandron, one of the aristocratic Ancient Houses that eventually came to rule the Senex-Juvex.^[2]

Following the fragmentation of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Endor^[3] in 4 ABY,^[2] the Vandron system became the closest system to the planet Tallaso^[3] of the D'Aelgoth sector^[4] to host a functioning Imperial bureaucracy.^[3] When the ousted Imperial governor Riggins Delahrg of Tallaso traveled to the Vandron system in search of employment, he walked into the system's Imperial Administration building and bluffed his way into a well-paying position. Less than six months later, the Vandronian government collapsed, and Delarhg, unemployed again, fled the system.^[3]

During the Galactic Civil War, the Vandron system was under the control of a local government that was affiliated with the Galactic Empire.^[3]

The Imperial Administration building was located in the Vandron system.^[3]

The Vandron system was first mentioned in the 1995 West End Games Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement Heroes & Rogues, which was written by Paul Sudlow and Rick Stuart.^[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in grid square L-17.^[2]
