V-3P5 was a protocol droid owned by New Republic Senator Drextar Pym. 'Vee-Three' was responsible for watching over Pym's two sons, Kyle and Dirv Pym. During an assassination attempt by an insane former Storm commando, the droid was shot to pieces, but remained functional and was rescued by a motley crew of spacers.
