Unifar Temple/Legends
The Unifar Temple, also known as the Onderon Palace or the Iziz Palace, was the residence of the King of Onderon in the capital city Iziz during the Clone Wars.
Description
The Unifar Temple was located in the center of Iziz, close to Yolahn Square. Its throne room housed paintings of King Ramsis Dendup during his early days as King of Onderon.
History
The Unifar Temple was built sometime between the Dark Wars and the Third Galactic War, replacing the Iziz Royal Palace. During the Clone Wars, it was taken over by King Sanjay Rash following the ouster of King Dendup. Around 20 BBY, Rash held the execution of Dendup on the temple's steps facing Yolahn Square, but Dendup was rescued by General Tandin and the Onderon rebels.
It was destroyed sometime prior to Operation Shadow Hand, and replaced with a replica of the original palace.[1]
