An umbrella-like creature lived on the Forest Moon of Endor. The creature had two long, purple legs, each of which sported a clawed, two-toed foot. The creature's head, which held two white eyes with black pupils, was wide like an umbrella and bore stripes that alternated blue and red.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the Ewoks Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka and Latara used the creature, who wore yellow shorts, as a source of shade while they rested on the beach of a pond near a forest on Endor. However, when Kintaka and Latara's friend Wicket Wystri Warrick leaped into the otherwise still water, he splashed them and the creature. Startled, the creature let out a shriek before retreating into the forest as Latara and Kintaka chided Warrick.[1]

The unidentified creature appeared in "The Season Scepter,"[1] the thirteenth episode in the second season of the animated television series Ewoks. The episode was written by Bob Carrau and premiered on November 1, 1986.[3]
