Unidentified spiny Endor creature

The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This spiny creature lived on the Forest Moon of Endor. It had a long, tapered snout, pointy ears, and climbed on all fours. The creature had black fur with a white stripe down the center. It had a large, gray shell with white spines on it. This animal was arboreal, able to climb trees with ease.^[1]

Wicket Wystri Warrick once had a painful encounter with one of these creatures while taking his skills test to become a warrior. When Warrick was blasted with bad luck from a lucksprite, he grabbed the spiked creature rather than the doll he had intended to grab. The spikes caused Warrick to fall from the tree and fail his test.^[1]
