Unidentified planet (Kolatill system)
A planet was located in the Kolatill system of the Kathol sector in the Outer Rim Territories. In 8 ABY, a starship was attacked and left adrift near this planet. A starfighter patrol from the New Republic CR90 corvette FarStar—in-system responding to a distress call from the neighboring planet of Kolatill, which had been attacked by forces loyal to the Imperial warlord Moff Kentor Sarne—discovered the derelict, prompting the crew of the corvette to search the wreck for any survivors still alive in airtight sections.[2]
Behind the scenes
The planet was mentioned in the roleplaying adventure Omens, part of The DarkStryder Campaign, published by West End Games in 1995. The existence of the planet was revealed when part of the scenario detailing possible side adventures that the players may undertake mentioned that the crew could discover a derelict ship "out between planets." The players could search the ship for crew members that may still be alive, although whether they discover any is left to the discretion of the gamemaster.[2]
