A male singer was the lead vocalist of an all-Human band in the early years of the Galactic Civil War. In 1 ABY, that singer's band was popular on planet Kashyyyk, the homeworld of the Wookiees.[1]

The Human singer appeared in The Star Wars Holiday Special, a TV movie set in the Star Wars galaxy that aired in 1978. The band singer was played by Marty Balin, the lead vocalist of the real-life band Jefferson Starship, who portrayed a fictional band in the TV special.[1]
