A tour guide was an individual who provided guidance to tourists. On planets where tourism was a major industry, many inhabitants might find profitable careers guiding tours, as was the case with the lush world of Carest 1 and its natives, the Jiivahar.[1] One Jiivahar tour guide, Jannpyr, gained considerable fame.[2]
This occupation could also, in some instances, be performed by tour guide droids.[3]
