Torv Keist was a commander in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Serving in the Hitak Harriers, Keist fought against the Galactic Empire's Hell's Hammers repulsortank unit at the Battle of Turak IV. Keist was among the survivors of the battle and was later debriefed by Alliance Intelligence and assisted Alliance historian Voren Na'al in detailing the events of the battle.
