The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life was a book on alien species written by Professor Tem Eliss, of the University of Sanbra. Professor Eliss was forced to go into hiding from COMPNOR when his book's pro-alien views were discovered by Imperial spies, and the first draft was anonymously leaked to underground communication networks.

Behind the scenes

The sourcebook Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies was designed to be a collection of 'excerpts' from the first volume of The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life.

A regular feature in Star Wars Gamer magazine was also titled The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life.
