The Hexagon
The Hexagon was a Rebel Alliance term used to refer to an area of space situated along the border of the Mid Rim and the Outer Rim Territories. During the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance and the Galactic Empire, the region was a hotspot of Rebel activity. Under the direction of its owner and Rebel sympathizer Meysen Kayson, the Greel Wood Logging Corporation, which ran highly profitable greel tree–logging operations in the Arkanis sector's Pii system, diverted[1] significant[2] funds to many Alliance operations in the Hexagon.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Hexagon was first mentioned in "The Greel Wood Haven," a roleplaying source article authored by Craig Robert Carey and published in the May 1995 sixth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal magazine for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
