The Empire Strikes Back was a book-and-record adaptation of the junior novelization of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. It was a part of Buena Vista Records' Read-Along Adventures series, released in 1980. It was produced by Jymn Magon. The cassette tape version was re-released in a collection along with the other two original films' adaptations in 1984.[1]
The same audio and text was used for the 1994 Classic Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back book-and-tape, with different packaging and interior photos.
