The Edict of Jiaan was one of two successful but damaging documentaries written by Armennion Ullgusta and rumored to have been produced by Pret Swain during the New Order. Its contents included many details of the purge of the Jedi Order. This led to Ullgusta being on the most-wanted list of the Galactic Empire and The Edict of Jiaan being banned within the Empire.
