The Combat was the ritual contest held between the Humans of Rabaan and the S'krrr, the main inhabitants of the Ishanna system. The Combat was held on the Combat Moon in Rabaan's orbit. When disputes occurred between Rabaan and S'Krrr, their best warrior was chosen to meet in single combat on the moon. The combat was to the death, and the winner secured victory for their planet in the dispute.
