Parameters

• |name= Complete name of the artist.
• |profile= Part of the url of the profile page, excluding the https://www.deviantart.com/ portion.
• |profilename= Nickname of the author on DeviantArt.

Required parameters

• |url= URL of the page, excluding the https://www.deviantart.com/ portion.
• |text= Title of the page.
• |name= Complete name of the artist. Must be linked to their Wookieepedia article.
• |profile= Part of the url of the profile page, excluding the https://www.deviantart.com/ portion.

Optional parameters

• |date= Date the DeviantArt post was published online. In the format YYYY-MM-DD.
• |quote= A short excerpt from the citation for quick reference in the article.

Instructions for providing a backup link In accordance with our Sourcing policy, all links to external sites must include a link to a backup version, preferably using Internet Archive. Instances that do not include one of the following parameters will result in the page being placed in the maintenance category. Please only use one of the following parameters. |archivedate=20250521094024 This parameter uses the timestamp feature of Internet Archive. The URL supplied earlier in the template, along with archivedate, will provide a link to Internet Archive. |archiveurl=https://archive.is/EfD8P If Internet Archive does not work for the link in question, you can use archiveurl to provide a full URL to another backup website, such as archive.is. |archivefile=File:Jon_Favreau_The_Mandalorian.png If none of the archiving sites work, then provide a link to a screenshot of the page, uploaded to Wookieepedia, as per Wookieepedia:Mofferences/June 29, 2014. |nobackup=1 If no backup link can be found for content that is no longer available, this parameter can be used. If the content is still available, you can screenshot and upload it to Wookieepedia instead. |nolive=1 If the original content is no longer available, this parameter can be used, which will make the template add "content now obsolete;" to the citation. This may also mean a backup link can no longer be provided, and therefore may be used as well as |nobackup=1. Some citation templates such as {{SWArchive}} link to older content that is known to be no longer available, and therefore automatically default to |nolive=1 without the need to add the parameter manually. Note that for citation templates using a central repository (/Archive subpage), archivedate values must be added to the repository, and not on the individual instance of those templates.
