Required parameters

• |image= Use the book's front cover.
• |book name= Use the official full name of the book as published.
• |author= Include the name of the author(s).
• |cover artist= Include the name of the cover artist(s).
• |illustrator= Include the name of the illustrator(s).
• |editor= Include the name of the editor(s).
• |publisher= Include the name of the publisher(s).
• |release date= Include the name of the cover artist(s).
• |media type= Specify if its hardcover, paperback, and/or eBook.
• |pages= Include the number of pages.
• |isbn= Use the book's ISBN, which will automatically create a link to Special:Booksources. If one is not available, use none.
• |timeline= Specify when in the Star Wars timeline the events of the main story occurs using the BBY/ABY system. Use c. if approximate dates are used.
• |series= Include the series the book may be part of.
• |preceded by= Include the preceding book in the series.
• |followed by= Include the subsequent book in the series.

Optional parameters

• |isbn2= As per |isbn=, but for a second ISBN, if available. Leave blank if not required.
• |isbn3= As per |isbn=, but for a third ISBN, if available. Leave blank if not required.
• |canceled= If the book has been canceled, use 1.
