Tayaba'I was the winter equinox on the planet Socorro which lasted for seventy-two hours. During the Tayaba'I, the planet's temperature dropped, turning Socorro frosty. With the temperature at its lowest, the majority of the chiru population died off, allowing the next generation of eggs to hatch as the planet warmed back up.[1]
