The Tasar system of the Inner Rim consisted of the star Gyrlat, three planets, and an asteroid belt.
History
The Tasar system was located in the Inner Rim, but was not explored due to its distance from established space lanes and long range scans showing that it was barely habitable. Towards the end of the Clone Wars, an admiral from the Old Republic performed a detailed survey. They hoped that the system would be rich in minerals and ores, but none were found.[2]
The only habitable planet in the system, Tasariq, had large deposits of ornamental crystals that were popular for use in jewelry.[2]
