Tanthior was a planet located in the Corellian sector of the Core Worlds.

Tanthior was a jungle planet, populated with a variety of dangerous fauna and flora.

The atmosphere of Tanthior was poisonous to most species not native to the planet.

Small groups of scientists lived on Tanthior in biologically-sealed habitats, studying the planet's unique ecology.
