THX Ultrasound Speakers were a type of speaker.[1] In 5 ABY,[2] 1138 of them played music throughout an amusement park space station called Hologram Fun World, located in the Zabian system.[1]
Behind the scenes
THX Ultrasound Speakers were mentioned in the fifth novel of the Jedi Prince young readers series, Queen of the Empire, published in 1993.[1] Allusions to George Lucas's first feature film, THX 1138, are made often throughout Star Wars material, and these homages have been officially acknowledged.[3]
