Surron StarTech was a new player in the field of starship design when it signed on with Rendili StarDrive to produce the Starlight-class light freighter. This joint venture, while a weak move for Rendili, proved to be the boost that Surron needed, and they soon produced another freighter design, the L19 Heavy Freighter.
