The Oriolanis Defense Systems Striker projectile pistol was a typical slugthrower. The weapon was usually only lethal if it hit a vital area. Thus, it was available even on worlds with strict weapons laws.
Huff Darklighter possessed a Striker pistol, and offered it as a reward to a spacer. The pistol was also favored by spy agents. At least one entertainer was known to possess this weapon, calling it Entertainer's Friend.[1]
