A stimpill allowed an individual to stay awake when they were fatigued. When one was swallowed, it began work almost instantly, providing the individual with renewed energy and determination. Tubes of stimpills were one of the things found inside a survival kit. While useful in keeping one alert, overuse could quickly ruin one's health.
