Starter's Tale was a short story written by Peter M. Schweighofer and illustrated by John Paul Lona. It was published in the Star Wars Adventure Journal 4 by West End Games in November 1994.
Plot summary
The story was told from the perspective of Starter, who detailed an elaborate tale in which he took on the bounty hunters Beylyssa, Boddu Bocck, 4-LOM, Zuckuss, IG-88 and Dengar and defeated them single handed. He was then rendered unconscious by Boba Fett who delivered him to Darth Vader. Managing to escape Vader's clutches Starter stole an Imperial shuttle, the Tydirium, which he delivered to the Rebel Alliance.
