Starscream-9 Ion Drive

The Starscream-9 Ion Drive was a type of ion engine made by Sienar Fleet Systems for military use in fighters. Costing half a million credits and weighing in at 24 metric tons, this drive was an example of cutting edge technology of the period. It was exceedingly difficult to modify, and civilian possession of a Starscream-9 was a class one infraction in Imperial space.
