This article is about the 1994 Sega arcade game. You may be looking for the 1983 Atari Star Wars: The Arcade Game (in its original, arcade incarnation called simply Star Wars).

Star Wars Arcade, or simply Star Wars, is an arcade game produced by Sega and released in 1994. The game is a first-person space simulator, based around scenes from Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, especially the Battle of Endor.

A home version of the game was later released by Sega in November 1994 on the 32X video game system. The new version featured eight levels versus the arcade game's four levels, now including the attack on the original Death Star from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.

Levels

Between missions, R2-D2 activates auto pilot and takes the player to the next level, usually jumping through hyperspace. The Sega version has the option to choose Arcade Mode to more closely mimic the original game.
