Snot was a simple game that was easy to learn. The Gamorrean guard Gartogg, due to a lack of intellect, was unable to learn how to play the game[1] by 4 ABY. That year,[2] the Gran Ree-Yees knew this and took advantage of the Gamorrean's shortcoming to draw potential attention away from himself and the death of the Human scullion Phlegmin.[1]
Behind the scenes
Snot was first mentioned in Deborah J. Ross's short story "Goatgrass: The Tale of Ree-Yees", published in the anthology book Tales from Jabba's Palace in 1995.[1] In real life, snot is a uncouth term for nasal mucus.[3]
