Skutch was a Human male who fought as one of Meeka Reen's anti-Imperial pirates-turned-guerrillas on Jerne during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Skutch was present when Reen's group freed important Rebel captives Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa from the clutches of Imperial Captain Ryko Vant—it was Skutch who later discovered that Vant had left a tracking device on Skywalker's droid R2-D2, leading to conflict between the Rebels and Reen's guerrillas. Skutch was later killed with the rest of Reen's group, attempting to blow open a bunker supposedly holding a relic known as the "Eternity Crystal."[1]
