Skimmer (Unification Gala)

Skimmers were repulsorlift vehicles specially constructed to participate in the Unification Gala on Procopia. Each skimmer was designed to represent a ship that was present at the Battle of Shindra's Veil and they were used to recreate the battle as part of the celebrations. Selected Gala attendees would be given a red ribbon upon entrance, and were the designated pilots for the forces representing Shey Tapani and his allies. The opposing skimmers represented the Rogue Houses and were controlled by droid brains. Each skimmer had a repulsorlift engine, miniature laser batteries and a sensor suite.[1]
