Sinkholes were large holes on the surfaces of several planets, including Utapau and Karatha. The inhabitants of Utapau were forced to live in the sinkholes because of the strong winds on the surface. They were divided into several different levels. Pau City, the capital, was located in a sinkhole.
There were smaller sinkholes beneath some of the ponds on Skip 6 on the Smuggler's Run.[1]
A sinkhole was formed on Malastare after the detonation of an electro-proton bomb.[2]
The Umgulian blob races happened on a sinkhole stadium.
