Siak-series protocol droids were a model designed by Roche Hive Mechanical Apparatus Design and Construction Activity for Those Who Need the Hive's Machines. They were equipped with a Tranlang IV Communications module, two Photoreceptors, two auditory receptors, a languages database, a Verpinoid body and head, and a vocabulator. They stood 1.5 meters tall and cost 3,500 credits new (1,200 credits used). The model was Roche's great success after the failure of the J9 worker drone.
