Shotgun hypertransceiver

A shotgun hypertransceiver was a communications system installed aboard Agave-class picket ships. Because the vessel's role was to scout ahead of the main fleet, it needed a communications method with minimal detection. The shotgun hypertransceiver was used for that purpose.
