Shift perceptions was a Ta-Ree spell capable of being wielded by Ascendants on the planet Kathol. The spell allowed the caster to alter the perception of their senses to detect phenomena outside of their normal range. Ascendants could use the spell to allow their eyesight to perceive the infrared spectrum, or their hearing into ranges beyond the normal frequencies for their species.
Ascendants who wished to cast the spell were required to know the boost senses spell.
