Sektor 242 NewsLine was a smaller news agency during the Galactic Civil War, but it attained a high standard concerning accuracy and objectivity. This network also had one of the most popular holostrips in the Outer Rim, "The Times and Trepidations of Majnar Roak."

Sektor 242 Newsline filed a report from Queo City on Stend VI on the situation surrounding the seeming disappearance of the Khuiumin Survivors.
