The Gorothite civilization is devastated by the Scouring.

Se'Lenti, translated from Gorothite into Basic as "the Scouring," was a term used to describe the desolation brought about on Goroth Prime by the struggle between the Aqualish and Corellians for control of the planet's mining resources.

The conflict

The desolation occurred when asteroids were deliberately crashed into the planet, killing some five billion Gorothites and releasing vaporized hyperbaride from the crust into the atmosphere.
