Screening Officer

A Screening Officer was an Imperial officer stationed at an Imperial Recruitment Office. They were responsible for screening potential recruits into the Imperial Military by performing background checks into a candidate's personal history, education records and home life. Individual branches of the Imperial military had their own Screening Officers; the Imperial Navy maintained their own officers at recruitment offices, and encouraged potential new recruits to contact them directly if interested in enlisting in the Navy.
